If we removed all references to evolution from all school textbooks, which societal ills would suddenly vanish?

Acknowledging the existence of God does not necessarily correct moral faults, unfortunately. It would take alot more than that to remove ';societal ills.';

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

James 2:19If we removed all references to evolution from all school textbooks, which societal ills would suddenly vanish?
Easy there straw man, no one is saying that.

The real issue is that the observable process of evolution needs to be differentiated from the speculative hypothesis of evolution as our origin. For some, that distinction does not exist. And so they say that Creationists think that evolving viruses are a myth or make some other fallacious claim.

Frankly, when it comes to our origins, there are too many variables and assumptions for the scientific method to give any solid conclusions. We just think it is time for everyone else to be honest about that.If we removed all references to evolution from all school textbooks, which societal ills would suddenly vanish?
All sciences (just about every science is related to evolution, or to another science that is), logic, intelligence, thought ... oops.

@GMC:

It is - at the appropriate level, but we don;t teach differential calculus in first grade.

Evolution occurs. Period. All that's theory is how it occurs, not whether it does. Teaching that it does as a fact is teaching a fact. Teaching that the more fit to survive do survive at higher rates than those less fit is also teaching a fact. No one teaches punctuated equilibrium as fact.

Teaching that Jesus did exist and was crucified shouldn't be done in public schools, any more than teaching that the Greek gods really exist and really live on Mt. Olympus. They're BOTH religious fantasy.
None would suddenly vanish but we would no longer be teaching our children that a theory is a fact. Teaching a theory as fact is as much an example of indoctrination as you say teaching your child about religion is.
Hope for the future and betterment of self through education. The religions that oppose evolution thrive upon despair and ignorance.
The worlds IQ would fall considerably. God may have thought that intelligence was an ill quality, but i personally would rather be Intelligent in Hell, than be a dumb *** in Heaven.
Insects in the crop fields and germs in hospitals evolve so rapidly that we struggle to keep up. The study of evolutionary biology helps us fight famine and disease.
Intelligence is not an ill. This is all that would vanish.
None. Societal ills are not caused by evolution
butt piracy and drug abuse
well medication would go down the toilet again for one...
We'd lose alot of brain cells...

thats for shure.
