If assisted suicide/euthanasia were allowed for anyone over 16 slightly ill or depressed, would the religious?

opposition no longer be able to use the argument it preys on the elderlyIf assisted suicide/euthanasia were allowed for anyone over 16 slightly ill or depressed, would the religious?
Religious opposition has nothing to do with preying on the elderly. The religious opposition is that only God has the right to take your life, not you.

I personally support assisted suicide. If assisted suicide/euthanasia were allowed for anyone over 16 slightly ill or depressed, would the religious?
religious people are against it because they dont think anyone has the right to end their own life.. so i dont think that would make any difference

personally, i think everyone has the right to die if they want to. its more cruel to keep someone alive if they dont want to live.
I believe in assisted suicide but I would not endorse it being made available to some-one around 16 who is slightly ill or depressed.

At that age it is almost expected to be depressed at some time. Growing up is no easy job.

I'm not sure what you mean by ';slightly ill'; but ';slightly'; intimates a recovery can be expected so again I would consider assisted suicide inappropriate.

The truth is there are many assisted suicides taking place every day but the medical fraternity do not talk about it for fear of legal ramifications.
