Would sleeping with wet hair and the window open on a cold night, make you ill?

iv been told that it does and then by others it doesnt??

whats the truth?Would sleeping with wet hair and the window open on a cold night, make you ill?
No it doesn't but when i have a draft on my neck, i get neck-ache! LOLWould sleeping with wet hair and the window open on a cold night, make you ill?
No it wont, It is an urban myth, an old wives tale. Illnesses are spread by human contact, either by ingesting or inhaling a virus or bacterium.

I often go to bed straight after a bath with damp hair and always sleep with the window open and have never got ill from this.
No, rather uncomfortable but illness like you might be thinking of come from other people - coughs, sneezes just being near them can spread infection. Case in point - people who live inside the artic circle don't get colds due to it being so cold that airborne germs do not live long enough to be passed on
No because things like colds and the flu are only passed on by germs from other people, however it can make you less resistant to infection which is where the myth might have come from
All you would get was a stiff neck and aches in the shoulders, a warm shower soon fixes that.
It doesnt make you ill sadly, I used to try that when I didnt want to do PE at school lol
