Christians- If your child was severely ill would you A- Pray, or B- Rely on science based doctors?

My BFs sister had a tumor in her eye and to get it out it would cost alot. Our church prayed for her. God gave my stepmom a message to give to the little girls mother, saying before it heals it would get bigger, it got bigger. while they where eating her eye began to bleed, and she was healed. Her mother told the doctors she wasnt going to pay because God had healed her.The doctor, Being a athiest, didn't believe it, so she brought her in, And by our Awesome God, she was healed....

I worked in Pediatrics in a hospital for quite a number of years. I once saw a boy brought in who had severe complications from spinal meningitis.





His parents had ';prayed over him'; an entire week while he was dying. And then showed up at the hospital demanding to get their child back since a relative had ';unlawfully'; taken the boy out of their home.





The child died the next day.
I would pray and seek medical help a.s.a.p.


My sister was brain washed by healers and let breast cancer go full circle,she prayed and prayed ,When it didn't go away the people somehow thought it was a curse that God sent to her,At the end ,it was the size of a melon ,no one loved God more, than my sister.The people who practiced such healing will have to answer one day,,IT cost her ,her life,and i lost my best friend.lets have some faith with common sense.54 was too young to die

Why does it have to be one or the other? I believe doctors are given a specific gift (as we all are in some way or another), but of course, as I do believe in God, I would also pray!

But if i really had to chose i would go with A.
c- all of the above= praying without acting is not a smart move, and either is trusting doctors, without praying
i would do both because you can pray that the doctors have the wisdom to know what is wrong and can fix it
Science is a gift from God, and I would pray for my child and the Doctor.
I would sincerely pray that God would provide the Dr.s all of the wisdom and compassion we would possibly need to save my child.
Both, of course.
Thats why God gave us doctors.
