lastminuteman, NO, a urinalysis is NOT used to test for any drugs used to treat hypertension. A routine urinalysis tests for such items as: color, clarity, pH, specific gravity, glucose (sugar), acetone (ketones), protein, red blood cells, pus cells, bilirubin, some crystals, and kidney casts. No it doesnt show up any medications that you are on, it just shows if there is blood, nitrates, lucocytes, protiens, the pH, specific gravity, glucose and ketones in your urine. :)
