ILL. State Supreme Court rules that He doesn't need White's signature: Will he now be seated in the US Senate?

Harry Reid seemed to be one of the few people on Planet Earth that insisted that Roland Burris needed the signature of ILL Sec of State Wite on his papers (And didn;t have it) when Burris showed up in Washington to be turned away from the Senate seat he was appointd to.

Now...(if you got all that straight) is Burris going to become the Junior Senator from ILLinois?

And should he, as the only obsticle seems to have been eliminated???

What say you America?

Please opine if so inclined. and plaese be pithy in the No Spin Zone!ILL. State Supreme Court rules that He doesn't need White's signature: Will he now be seated in the US Senate?
After what Reid said the other day about Burris' paperwork needing that signature, and now that its NOT needed, Burris will probably get the seat!ILL. State Supreme Court rules that He doesn't need White's signature: Will he now be seated in the US Senate?
I hope the impeachment of Blago allows Reid to scramble for more time in hopes that that the Illinois Legislature votes yes on the article of impeachment.

But wait, would that nullify the appointment or would Burris still claim it should be him? Maybe the replacement for Blago would just reappoint Burris.

This whole situation is a mess. If he is seated it surely will leave a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.
My problem with Burris being seated had nothing to do with Reid or signatures from state officials. To me it didn't make sense to seat a senator if there was division in the state he is to represent over his very appointment. If and when the powers that be in Springfield have reached a consensus and can support the new senator then I have no problem with Burris being worn in.
Ill. didn't require Obama to supply a birth certificate either! This ILL Supreme doesn't decide Federal placement requirements.... Just as Blago. forfeited his appointment by trying to sell it first. ILL should straighten out it's own house before entering the Nations!
Legally, Burris was entitled to the seat as soon as Blago appointed him. Signaure by the Ill. SofS is not required by Ill law, it's just a tradition. Mr. Reid has major egg on the face. Such filthy politics!
I would say that with the recent events that have taken place he will lose popularity and most likely not be appointed. On the contrary he may receive the pity vote. He is an experienced politician, and was wrongly accused.
He is tainted, and the Senate is not obligated to seat anyone, even if they were duly elected.
Probably. Dem resistance has crumbled, they need the vote, always politics over principle for that party.
It will just be a matter of time before he comes to the seat

also i think if he said he was going to just fill the seat for the next 2 years he would be accepted..
It's strange....Reid said Burris would not get seated. Obama even said, whoever Blago appointed, was tainted and should not be seated.

2 weeks later...... Obama says that depending on the Il Supreme court rulings, he Would work with him.

Reid says that Burris needs Jesse White's signature, obviously - so he doesn't have to take responsiblity for seating a tainted Senator.

At the end of the day, neither men will make the ';people'; their priority.

He'll get seated, and we'll have yet ANOTHER corrupt fool in the Illinois Senate.

As an Illinois resident, I am sick of all of them....Daly, Durbin, Buriss, Blago, Obama, Daly, etc.

Even our previous Governor is in prison, as we speak.

I'm ';hopeful'; for a real vote in Illinois by the people....and I'm ';hopeful'; for REAL CHANGE in Chicago Politics.
';No Spin Zone'; is an oxymoron when you're the host.

I think you should read about all the logical fallacies, strawmen and also at what cherry picking is.

Because that is all you do.

FYI, Ron Paul kicked your ***. That's why you need to talk over him.

';Don't need a history lesson.';

Oh yes, Billy, you do.
