My step mother will not allow me to see my father who is terminally ill, dont i have rights, what can i do?

I'm afraid james is correct.

Before you start filing motions in family court, though, I suggest you try finding an arbitrator. Is there another family member who gets along with both you and your step-mom? Or try any of your father's caregivers: doctor, clergy, etc.

If you pursue this in the most diplomatic way you're capable of at this point, you'll have a much better chance at making some progress before your father passes.

Good luck and best wishes. My step mother will not allow me to see my father who is terminally ill, dont i have rights, what can i do?
can you get in touch with your father through the phone or email? if so you can get his verbal permission/written permission to see him or make decisions on his behalf.

otherwise, you are going to need to get an attorney involved.

if your father passes on. you may also need to have an attorney to see what his estate and will says. I assume your step mom is the executer of the will.My step mother will not allow me to see my father who is terminally ill, dont i have rights, what can i do?
You must be worried sick about your father. She has no right to treat you like that. Get a friend or relative to go with you, You realise of course your father is seriously ill, but he would want you there. If you have any trouble with her , you may have to seek legal advice. Your stepmother should be ashamed of herself. No court would refuse you visiting your father. Go to see him now.
Well, has your father ever put you in any harm? Any atall? Perhaps your stepmother is protecting you from him, because what you see may actually be more damaging then anything else.

ORRRR!!

You could just override her and visit him, regardless of her! Ask a relative to take you or an adult-friend. :)
what age are you..and need more details..people often go to court to settle matter such as this..in order to have contact with a ill family member..depends on the situation and what has been going on in the family with different members..I would at least consult a lawyer
ur step mother has nothing to do with you shes just the biatch ur dad married so tell her 2 f off and get 2 ur dads side if you dont you will regret it later in life
course u have rights you have more rights than she does!!!! you are prob your dads next of kin or you are your dads she is only married to him you are blood relative
obv course you do!!

she's only your step mom there isnt any blood linking the two of you together. she has absaloutly no say in this
Talk with your father about it.
