How long would it take ANY germ to develop inside you and make you ill?

There are bacteria and viruses. It depends on what type. Bacteria can make you sick in hours or days even weeks later. Viruses like meningitis make you sick in hours and can kill you in as little as six hours. Other viruses can take 1-3 days before you know. We have germs all around us and all over us all the time. They can be beneficial and usually don't bother us. We tend to get sick when there is an over abundance of them. Regular cleaning and washing your hands is enough to keep you healthy.How long would it take ANY germ to develop inside you and make you ill?
A matter or minutes i had food poisoning about a few weeks ago. And when i ate something that was not clean of something got on in a germ released. So in about 5 minutes i had SEVERE cramps. It was so bad i couldn't manage to move. But about 10 minutes later i had diarrhea and the cramps went away. So you see in only a matter of minutes can a germ take affect. And sometimes it can be much more serious then just food poisoning.
