i kno the best gift would be the baby..but my due date is dec 10th n his birthday is dec 12th and i kno his own birthday wud be the last thing on his mind..which is y i want to surprise him by getting him a gift on his birthday..just to make him feel a lil special

Honestly, I would get him alot of gift certificates for restaurants or stock up on easy cook stuff that he really likes! Make him a little basket of snacks and stuff, make it special for him! He might appreciate it because you will be very tired and probably sore for a while and not feel like cooking much!What would be the best gift for my husband wile ill be in the hospital with our new baby?
Maybe a special frame that says something special about daddy - and when the first picture of him and the baby is taken - you can get it and put it in the frame so he will have a keepsake of his first moments with the baby. I did this for my husband and he cherishes the photo and frame and has it proudly sitting on his desk at work, so he can show off his baby to everyone!
How about some home made cirtificates in a special book that he can cash out from u.

The best gift is a living breathing human what more could he want? The fact you are asking this indicates to me that you may be like I was when about to/giving birth...worrying about the father, A new life that comes out of your body is the gift.
Maybe some type of ';daddy/father'; gift? A special frame maybe with pics to follow once ordered....something for the office? I personally would go along that line....Good Luck with everything!! Congrats on the little one.....
