How would you defend the statement- ';less care is given to termilly ill patients because of organ transplants';?

i have been asked to defend this in a report. it discuss how and why that is not true. does anyone have any ideas? How would you defend the statement- ';less care is given to termilly ill patients because of organ transplants';?
The statement is easily refuted due to fact patients who will be donating organs recieve MORE and special care do to their donor status and the necessity to keep the organd viable until donation.

Well, it would be ethically wrong: but then again, you can give good care right up until the end. You don`t have to `waste` rare and expensive organs on them if you know they are beyond help and terminally ill.

A lot of problems like this are thought of and understood in the medical field, but not spoken of.

It`s not `wrong` as such, just a very sad but realistic fact.
