well this is very debatable and both teams are great but im going with dallas. why? because dallas has the defense that phoenix doesnt. look at the games phoenix played, no lead is ever safe with them, teams who were down 16+ pts were able to come back against phoenix and in the playoffs defense wins and dallas has one of the best. both teams can score and both teams have great depth on their bench but the one thing phoenix doesnt have is a good defense. pts wont be scored as easily in the playoffs, defenses will clamp down hard on an opposing teams main player. if steve nash is shut down, then their whole team is significantly worst. as for dallas if you shut down dirk, there is still howard and vice versa.Dallas or Phoenix: Who is the better team? I think Dallas is the better squad at this point. They can play all styles, whereas the Suns have serious difficulties playing a half-court game. When teams slow down the tempo, they struggle. I also think Dallas will ultimately go to the finals as well. They'll be too tough to beat in a 7 game series.
I do not think that any of these two teams is going to make it to the NBA finals. I think that the Utah Jazz could possibly be in the NBA finals. After all phoenix has lost twice to the jazz and Dallas has also lost to the jazz. Matter of fact they even lost to the bulls last night. I can't say who will have a better record we will just watch and see.
Ok, first off to answer your question, who is the better team. Overall, I think that the Dallas Mavericks are a better team. Offensively the Suns win, I mean they score about 110 or more per game and can put up points very quickly with their fastbreak offense. The Mavericks have don't score as much and have shown, they aren't the perfect offensive team by losing to the Bulls. Defensively, the Mavericks are better and play great team defense, often causing a lot of turnovers for their opponents. Where as the Suns don't play such great defense. So Dallas' defense gives them the edge and make them the better team than Phoenix.





Who will make it to the NBA Finals? I think that Dallas is going to make it to the Finals because of their defense. Really when it gets to the playoffs, what really matters is defense. You can always rely on defense in the playoffs, but the Suns rely on their offense. And sometimes your offense doesn't work. However teams can always play good defense no matter what. So Dallas' defense will be the factor which will either make or break them in the playoffs. As the saying goes, ';a good defense, makes a good offense';. If Dallas plays their defense, they should make it to the Finals.





Who will have the better record? With how the Suns are playing, I think they'll have the better record because they are just outscoring teams easily. But in the playoffs and Finals it will be different because the defensive intensity picks up. But for now, the Suns will probably have the better record with about 62 wins.

i like phoenix better, but the mavs r good at both ends of the court. they can play good d and great offense. but suns might win cuz their offense is a lot better
