My Laptop wont turn on please help me, ill be your best friend forever and you will get 10 points please plz?

i have a dell Latitude D600, it fell down a staircase a couple months back (3 at the most), it was working fine, i took it to a repair shop, theyre going to fix it like in 2 weeks, but, just today, when i tried installing an external hard disk, it shuts off!, i am scared, my dad has important Docs on it, and i dont want to be the blame of all of this. this is what happened


i searched the microsoft website to see why the external disk wont load, i found a page, it tells me to follow the instructions carefully, So i DO, i remove the lowecase and uppercase registry keys (theyre useless, as said by microsoft), but i created a backup point b4 that.


now when i restarted, everything will load until right before the 'welcome page' the screen goes off.


i tried doing it with safemode: the welcome page comes, but the keyboard wont move. i tried the last working settings option, but same thing happened ( b4 the welcome pge wont turn on), i tried everythng i cn with battery nothing happened helpMy Laptop wont turn on please help me, ill be your best friend forever and you will get 10 points please plz?
you dropped it down the stairs! what did you expect? why can't the shop fix it sooner? get it fixed, and hope it helps.
